Environment Canada’s Green Lane Management Committee is responsible for the Environment Canada Web Policy. This policy document outlines the areas of responsibility and accountability for the creation, management, and publication of web assets.

MarketAccess worked with GLMC to develop a web-based tool to support this policy. The tool had to:

• Be an inventory of all EC web site initiatives
• Support the business process that guides the submission, review, and approval of new web projects
• Support monitoring and assessment of projects for CLF compliance.

Environment Canada granted MarketAccess intellectual property rights on the development of this web asset management tool and CLF Compliance Monitor.

This means that MarketAccess can provide this tool as a core engine to all government departments, and customize it to support unique business processes.
