What is eSurvey?
eSurvey is a hosted-in-Canada LimeSurvey solution. LimeSurvey is an open-source survey system. An increasing number of Canadian companies and organizations are concerned about the implications of the Patriot Act and foreign government access to data of all types. MarketAccess' online survey provides an community-supported survey solution with the added benefit of being hosted on Canadian web servers.
Is LimeSurvey a viable alternative to SurveyMonkey?
LimeSurvey is an OpenSource solution, which means unlike SurveyMonkey, the only thing you're paying us for is the hosting and server capacity to handle high loads of traffic (you're not paying us for continued software development -- the OpenSource community does that for free). The other benefit is that with LimeSurvey, there are many companies that host LimeSurvey -- although as best as we know, we're the only company specializing in hosting LimeSurvey on Canadian servers. In our opinion, SurveyMonkey is great for small, simple surveys. But if you need complex logic paths and more sophisticated support, then LimeSurvey is probably a better solution for you than SurveyMonkey.
How does eSurvey work?
eSurvey is a web-based application that allows you create your own online surveys and invite people to complete the survey. eSurvey does not require any software to be downloaded or installed on your computer, and it has a simple-to-use interface with extensive online help.
Why should I pick eSurvey over other surveying solutions?
eSurvey is very intuitive and easy to use. MarketAccess eSurvey is a Canadian hosted version of the very popular open-source product, LimeSurvey. Built on open-source technologies, it is constantly undergoing improvements and enhancements.
You don't have to run it on your own server. We host it in a Canadian data centre, on robust, scalable, and stable servers, freeing you from the need to worry about technology and focus on your survey instead.
We do not require that you sign a one-year contract, as most other robust applications do. You can sign up for a single survey, for a specific period of time (minimum 1 month) and once your survey is complete, and you've downloaded your data, you can terminate your account.
